If I didn’t have to leave a star to leave a review, I wouldn’t give them any stars!! Came up here for two weeks with the understanding when we made reservations they would dump the trailer twice a week since they don’t have a sewer dump at the sites. Got here and told will dump trailer only once during the week…more than that they charge you $35! You pay $65 dollars a night w/o sewer at site! That’s pretty steep for no sewer. What do you do for two weeks without a sewer dump at your site and only once a week dump! If you have kids good luck! Plan to have to pay for additional dumps at your site for $35 or pack up everything and use dump station and set up again! Nice facility otherwise but no sewer at site and no accommodation from the owners other than to pay for an extra dump.
Would highly NOT recommend this place!!
Per your comment to my first review…
We are still here for another 10 days because we can’t get a refund now since we paid the total of our fee upfront six months ago.
As for your website and the once a week dump of stays longer than 7 days, it is very unclear exactly what that means from how it is written in the description. When we made reservations in January it was our understanding then that we would be dumped twice a week. Otherwise, we would not have booked here.
The RV park is a very nice RV park that part we have enjoyed, however, the dumping of our trailers is an issue that we were not aware of because of our understanding from when we spoke with you in January.
We will finish our stay but will not be back.

Came in after hours and Esther was quick to be helpful. It's awesome when I find the most affordable business that also has the best customer service! Thanks!

We are traveling in our 5th wheel and it’s our first time in McCall. We arrived without a reservation at 8pm and easily selected space 34 on the end. The rv park is lined with trees and easy to maneuver. We had a table and fire pit/bbq.
It was pricey at $68/night IMO but other rv parks were more expensive. We didn’t get to use much of the amenities since we were traveling through. They had a food truck and nice picnic tables. Nice small grassy dog area. There are monthly tenants. The hwy 55 is nearby and not too noisy. Bathrooms were clean.
Was a nice stop for a night but next time I think we’ll explore another park.

Great place to stay but very expensive in my opinion! $68 plus tax for the 2025 season. We stayed in mid-May and the weather was great! Lots of open spaces and the pull through spots were great. The bathrooms were super nice and clean, the showers were hot and great pressure.

We met my parents here, them from Oregon, us from Utah. This was our first RV campground ever in 6 years of camping. I can’t make comparisons because of that, but this campground was awesome! All the horror stories I hear of being in campgrounds didn’t happen here. It was as quiet as an RV park could be. The owners are awesome and Stacey hooked me up with a great place to fish. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 days here. We only went into the bathrooms right before we left as we dumped the tanks, and we thought they looked very clean and well kept. The little general store was nice to grab ice and beer from and had essentials for trailer life. The location was great, plenty of mature trees for additional shade and the property well maintained. We would definitely come back and stay at the Black Bear RV Park. We would highly recommend this park as a great place to stay.
