Dog Creek (ID)

Nice, very close to the lake, stores, etc. The trees are vary tall, shade is limited a bit.

Very clean and quiet. Was a beautiful place to camp.

The campsites are spread out very nicely so there was plenty of privacy and the area is beautiful. The only real issue we had was that the campsite listing for site 12 says Trailer length 40 feet. NOT. EVEN. CLOSE. Our 28ft travel trailer filled up the entire length of the parking area, and we had to park the truck so it was mostly in the return loop outside of the campsite parking space so I was slightly blocking other vehicles from getting through. Also, the photo shows the picnic table and fire pit on the left side of the campsite, which would normally put the the awning side facing towards the picnic area. The photo is deceptive because it was taken from the end of the campsite parking space rather than from the road, so they are actually on the other side of the space. I thought we had the wrong space at first until I realized what the photographer had done. That being said, it was still the best campsite in the campground and we thorougly enjoyed it. The camp hosts are phenomenal.

Had a great time even with the water off (belive it is on now). Host were great.

This place is beautiful! The camp host was awesome and the grounds were clean. We plan to make this a yearly spot for our family gatherings.

The spot was not big enough for my camper. The information said it was so we moved and lost our money.

GREAT CAMPGROUND! The sites were very clean, toilets were the cleanest we’ve ever used at a camp site, and the hosts were very friendly. It has plenty of shade and space between sites, and is situated away from the highway. You can hear the sound of running water. We’ll be back!

Very clean bathroomd. In spite of what the web site says, there is water available. Nicely wooded and spaced spots. River is s short walk away across highway.

Great location, well kept campground and facilities.
Hosts were absolutely great, laid out yard games for kids, helped with questions and even missing items, provided wood etc.
Walking distance to the river and great hiking.

Love this camp ground. Camp Hosts were very nice people. We had site 13 "Group site", but it didn't work out very well for my family. The space needs opened up, large rocks prevented parking/setting up more than one camp trailer, or even an extra vehicle. Having an extra picnic table doesn't make it a group site. The larger price is a rip off. The space needs some work. Maybe add a second tent pad, and get the burn pile/tree removal cleaned up.
