One of our favorite spots. Love the campground and staff are always pleasant and keep to themselves. Very nice and clean area. Hopefully it doesn't get too popular so we can keep our fave spot a secret

Most of the sites are full shade. Close to Newport for things you might forget. Camp hosts were amazing! Loved the clean bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers. Definitely will return.

Day use area and 14 site campground with picnic tables and fire rings. The campground has 4 tent only sites and the rest for RV & or tents. Site 14 has 30 amp electrical (no water) - all other sites are no hook ups. There are dumpsters and water spigots placed around the campground. A shower house (given 4 tokens upon arrival but returned as we didn't use) and restrooms across a small bridge from the campground. There's firewood for sale in a shed by the Volunteer Village ($7 - cash or Venmo) also a boat launch, picnic area and swimming dock.

With the help of the very friendly and helpful camp host, Carol, we were able to snag "the best camp site in Northern Idaho" and boy was it. Site 14 has is the only electric hookup site. The site was partially shaded but had enough open sky to top off solar and use Starlink. It's a back in site (or pull in) up an incline and fairly level (had to use blocks in rear). We are 54' total with TT & truck and still had room to spare. We didn't use the electricity, but the views - we definitely enjoyed them. The interior roads were a little narrow, and as previously mentioned had speed bumps throughout.

Would stay here again, only in site 14, if in the area.

All of the park personnel are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The grounds are impeccably well maintained and the bathrooms/showers are cleaned regularly.
We look forward to returning!
