At a cost of $150 per night, there should be a place to dispose of garbage closer than 4 mi away. Putting garbage in vehicles every night so the critters don't spread it around camp is not acceptable. The closest place to dispose garbage is located at the near the end of the Dent Acres boat Ramp, a slow 8 mi, 25 minute drive round trip. Hint: Assign one person in the group to be in charge of the garbage.

We had a great experience at Dent Acres campground. The sites were well-maintained, and we really appreciated the covered picnic tables. It was also nice to see that everyone was respectful and kept the noise levels down.
One suggestion for improvement would be to clearly indicate on the website that firewood is not available for sale at the campground. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning next year!
