Very few campsites make for a relaxed experience. So quiet after sundown; delightful. Campground host nice and helpful. Beautiful little manmade lake, lots of frogs, nice to walk around and explore. Restroom clean. Access to water excellent.

This is a stunning sight. The morning views were simply spectacular.
It is a quiet campsite but you're next to a lake filled with egrets and curlews.
The site was well-manicured and very clean. Potable water available.
It's not too far off the highway on mostly paved roads.

We rented the large pavilion area. It was nice to have the shade, tables, and drinking water. Camp hosts were nice. If there was just a little effort put in to the grounds and the water area, it could be really great, but it's fine for what you pay. The beach is dirt, but the water is a comfortable temperature. The access area from the campground is through a tiny opening and kind of a pain to get through with a stroller or wagon, but...again, it's cheap.

The campground was clean and not crowded. The lake was also nice, even though there is not really a beach and the dock was taken down, but the water temp was perfect. Cell phone reception was a nice bonus. The pit toilets stunk (of course), and the lock was broken. There is no where to put trash so it was a hassle packing it out (we drove it to Snowville before packing up). And there was not a lot of shade.

Great hosts. Cleanest bathrooms at a camp site that I have ever seen. We will be back!
