This campground looks like a park! Green grass everywhere. The camp host is making it look better everyday. He is very friendly. Hope they have plans to pave the quarter mile into the park, it's a little bumpy. We had a great and quite stay.

Rather poor stay due to loud generators running all night long. Also, our site was marked as open despite having made a reservation. I would not recommend staying here.

Was hoping for a shower. Maybe that was asking too much. However, biggest issue was that the entire lake was supposedly not fit for swimming because of chemicals in the water. That info needs to be posted when people make a reservation. I was hoping to standup paddle board and swim. I would not have stayed at this location if I had known in advance that those activities were banned or not recommended. Also, there was a pretty serious fire nearby, but there appeared to be no camp host to provide possible evacuation notice. Fortunately, it appeared to be put out. Other than that, the campsite was clean and nicely arranged.

Quiet during our midweek overnight stay. Clean vault toilets and potable water. Beautiful sunset views across the grasslands. There were only two other campers in the whole campground plus the host.

We spent the weekend in #8. We had some absolutely gorgeous views in this spot. There was a storm while we camped so we really got some phenomenal all around views. The bathrooms were very clean. Camp host is new but friendly. The roads were well maintained.
The only negative we had was the other campers who blew through right next to the camp sites at full speed kicking up dust.

The new camp host is incredible. They have implemented improvements to keep the campground green and clean. The campground is definitely making a comeback, and I would recommend it to anyone.
