Malad Summit Campground is situated next to Mill Creek, just 14 mi north of Malad, Idaho, at an elevation of 6.1 ft. Visitors enjoy hiking, horseback riding and off-road vehicle riding on the area's many trails.

Great and peaceful spots with lots of spots close to the river. This area is tight to get into with the narrow path and overgrown trees and shrubs.

Beautiful campsite. Shade and waterfalls made for a cool and relaxing climate. Camp hosts were welcoming. They gave tips and info about interesting natural sights.

Great small campground for smaller trailers( 20-25 ft. ). Green and pretty quiet. There’s a dirtroad right across the creek but you don’t really hear it from the sound of the water. Camp hosts are very helpful and keep the area clean.

Highway access
Malad Summit Campground is accessible via Interstate 15, approximately 11 miles south. From there, Highway 191 provides further access north.
Policies & Rules
General
- Malad Summit Campground is managed by Pinnacle Parks Llc under a special use permit with the Caribou-Targhee National Forest. For questions please contact 208-757-3999 between the hours of .
- The campground has first-come, first-serve campsites and reservable campsites. Visitors can first check with the campground host for available campsites. If the campground host is not available, visitors must check if the campsite is occupied, and if available pay at the fee tube.
- There are no electric, water, or sewer site hookups at this campground.
- An additional fee of $5 will be collected on-site for extra vehicles parked in a campsite. The Allowable Vehicle/Driveway Details section has information on maximum vehicles allowed for individual campsites. Single Sites: 1 vehicle, Double Sites: 2 vehicles
- Off-road vehicle use is prohibited within the campground
