Site #15 at Scout Mountain campground is a great site - very spacious and level (or very close to level). It was nice that there was an official host this year and no cows at our site.

The Group campsite 028 claimed a lot of tent spaces, which we found there was not, due to the hill we were on, sleeping was terrible because we couldn't find a good flat surface.. I'd say there was at most 5 tent spots, and not great ones at that.
One of the couples resorted to putting their tent on the wrap around road, through the campsite and we ended up having to use the entrance for the exit, and the exit was locked... which we were told had to stay locked, it was a mess... probably will never go back to that site.
Also ran out of T.P. and the bathroom was gross when we got their.

We used the group picnic site. It is very roomy and nice with a large fire pit and 10 tables.
There isn’t a lot of room for parking.
The only draw back was that the camp host, who is parked right next to the group site, ran his loud generator the whole time we were there and it was obnoxious.

This is a really pretty wooded campground with several campsites very private. We stayed here on our way home to TX. The nights cool off nicely being in higher elevation. The road to get here is a paved one but curvy. We had no issues with our 21 foot trailer. The only negative we experienced was the generator noise from the host until quiet hours.
