A sweet little campground, tucked between the road and the river. There is fishing access to the north along the neighboring pasture. I didn't walk that part as my dog was with me and the pasture is off limits for dogs.
I stopped for the night on my way to Montana and pretty much had the campsite to myself. There are a couple of group campsite along with the individual sites. The grounds were clean, the campsites level, there were fire rings and picnic tables at each site. There were water spigots scattered around the grounds, critter proof trash cans and pit toilet facilities.
I was concerned about noise from the road, but it seemed most of the traffic was local, and there was hardly any traffic after dark. The geese made more noise than anything else. I had a wonderful night's sleep and continued my journey the next morning.
