Beautiful lakeside campground with wooded sites in the shadows of the Sawtooth. Bathrooms are clean. Would be nice to have showers, but there are ample potable water spigots. Hosts are ok.

Very busy campground, very little privacy. Watchdog camp hosts. Would stay somewhere else.

If the beach gets too crowded you can walk down the shore past the inlet to some other nice beaches. Expect to be attacked by mosquitoes.

The campground was clean and well maintained. We pull a 28 foot 5th wheel trailer and had plenty of space to park with our truck.
Our family loved the close proximity to the lake (within walking distance) and the young children loved the sandy beach and teenagers enjoyed swimming, fishing, and kayaking in the water. The campground host was pleasant and accommodating. This is one of the best campgrounds we have stayed in. The beach was crowded on the weekend with people and ski boats so if you like to camp with fewer people, I recommend going on a weekday.
We also enjoyed nearby hiking and floating the Salmon River.

This is a beautiful spot, hard to get a campsite reservation; however, when you do, it's a great spot for a family.
