A cute little campground in between the mountains. Quiet and well maintained. We loved it there. Easy parking in and out. We are traveling with a 36 ft 5th wheel. Stanley is just minutes away, there you can get everything you will need.
To the office: thanks so much for letting us stay two nights on lot 9! (10/10-10/12/25)

We will come back!

One of the only campgrounds in Stanley you can make reservations. Less than 1/2 from the entrance to Stanley lake. About 5 minutes to “downtown” Stanley. Great mountain view. No fire pits in sites but a communal fire pit is available and wood is provided.

I have to preface this by saying we aren't campers, but travelers who need to stay at a campground once in a while for logistics and personal maintenance. This park, albeit small and compact was clean, quiet and exceptionally well managed. Bathrooms and showers are impeccable, free coffee in the AM, good beer selection on store (for us beer enthusiasts), great gift shop (owner is a potter), great location, and top-notch manager...Cierra, who went over and above to make ours and everyone's stay as good as it could possibly be. That gal should be cloned! Just a fantastic find!

This was my third stay at Stanley RV and Basecamp Lodge, but first stay in the Lodge. It was perfect for my needs as I prepared for a 6 day river trip. The room was clean, comfy, and quiet. The shared kitchen is fully equipped and a great way to meet fellow travelers. The shared bathrooms/showers are very clean. I highly recommend Stanley RV and Basecamp Lodge for your visit to Stanley, ID.

This is a beautiful campsite amidst a forest of trees and in the mountains. If you want an off-the-beaten path campground, this is a perfect choice. The staff is very nice and helpful.

We were only there one night but would consider staying longer in a future visit to enjoy more of the amenities and surroundings. They have 2 washers and dryers which was a welcome surprise. They only charge $3 per load which is nice. They have two showers and toilets. The shower water got hot fairly quickly.

The campsites on the back row are up a hill with a beautiful view of the mountains . I don’t believe those have full hook ups.

The front row is down by the office and there are more trees. We stayed on site 16. Kind of odd that it has a cabin in front of it but we are in a van and we could go back far into the site so it didn’t bother us.

I think next time I’d book a spot in the back for the Mountain View .
