Moose Creek Ranch

We had a lovely stay at Moose Creek Ranch, and the property itself is absolutely stunning. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what we were hoping for. The staff was also wonderful- very personable, friendly, and welcoming, which truly made a difference in our overall experience.

We especially appreciated the complimentary Nordic ski rentals, which were an incredible perk, and the use of the brand-new sauna was such a wonderful amenity and very appreciated after long day outside. We also had dinner at Penny’s Pub, and the pizza was absolutely superb!

That said, for the price point, I did expect a bit more from the accommodations themselves. Both beds in our unit (Pine 2) were unfortunately very uncomfortable. One mattress appeared to be significantly worn or possibly broken, as it sunk in dramatically and made for a rough night’s sleep.

A few other small but notable details stood out. There was only one mirror in the unit, located in the bathroom, which made it difficult for multiple people to get ready at the same time. It was also surprising that guests were expected to wash all dishes, yet the dish soap in our unit appeared to be diluted with water and wasn’t effective. The same was true for the hand soap, both in our unit and in the lodge.

The kitchen could also use some attention- the oven appeared to need cleaning, as even preheating it caused the fire alarm to go off. Additionally, the shower in our unit was unfortunately quite dirty, and the water never heated past lukewarm for showering.

While the unit is advertised as having a fully stocked kitchen, there was no coffee maker. I understand that a Keurig is available in the lodge 24/7, but having an option in the cabin itself would have been a nice touch. Lastly, during the winter season, a few extra floor mats near the entryway would be helpful for snow and wet boots.

Overall, Moose Creek Ranch is a beautiful property with fantastic amenities and a wonderful staff, and we would stay again. A few improvements to cleanliness, in-unit amenities, and overall comfort would go a long way in better matching the premium experience the property aims to offer.

We couldn't have asked for more. The Moose Creek Ranch far exceeded our expectations. We were in town for the Teton Skijoring Event and staying at the MCR was amazing. The lodge, the game room, the sauna, and our cabin, all wonderful. Comfortable, clean, and spacious. We met Clair at check-in and have only kind words to say. Professional, courteous, and happy to have us staying there.
My only regret is not being able to try the food at Penny's. Our timing each day didn't allow for us to make it before closing. Did get to meet Penny though. Lovely, friendly, and furry mascot to the establishment.

Moose Creek Ranch is the perfect mountain escape near the Tetons that's private and secluded. This was our first time visiting in the winter and the cabin was cozy and the property and surrounding areas was magical. They have complimentary cross-country ski and snowshoe rentals that make it easy to explore right from your doorstep. Warm up in the main lodge by the fireplace while roasting s’mores, then end the day at the Creekside sauna followed by delicous pizza at Pennys Pub (on-Site restaurant) -so convenient. They have a pool table with games, unlimited coffee, hot chocolate, plus a complimentary light breakfast. Look no further than Moose Creek Ranch when visiting Grand Teton National Park.

This is a wonderful place in an awesome location. Nestled in the mountains and close enough to Jackson. We were there in winter. A white wonderland, not many others staying. It was gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Fireplace in the lodge was cozy and inviting. We were in Rendezvous 2, very warm and comfortable with the gas fireplace. If there's anything I would suggest is a coffee maker in the room. Probably not as important in warmer months, but would have been welcomed in the winter. Also, maybe because of winter, but the shower water pressure wasn't enough to ignite the water heater, so I had to run the sink hot water while I showered.
At any rate we loved the facilities and the location.

Moose Creek Ranch was the perfect fall getaway just outside of Jackson Hole, WY! I had the best time in one of their glamping tents. This was such a peaceful and relaxing stay. I woke up and got in their sauna and enjoyed coffee by the stream. At night, I watched Dancing With The Stars in the bar area with a glass of wine, book, and the best pizza I had ever had out west! They had the most welcoming, friendly, and helpful staff. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone in the area!
