After an amazing 3-day weekend here I am ready to shamelessly promote this place! We had such a great time getting to know the owners, local small town natives truly invested in making this a great place for all, especially families. There is so much for families to do: playground, rec room, pickleball, basketball, driving range, disc golf, trails, fishing, and more!

I would much rather give my money to people like this that love what they do, interact with guests, and create a fun and welcoming environment for all. We enjoyed our time so much that we booked our camper there for the months of June and July next summer.

This campground/resort is brand new and very well thought out. The owner is very accommodating and hard working. It’s a huge place that used to be a golf course, and has miles of paved trails. It has a great indoor and air conditioned common space with a camp store, clean showers/bathroom, games, tvs and soon to be a restaurant and bar. A large outdoor patio looks out over the common space of jumping pillows and splash pad. Next year they will have a pool in that same space. A few fishing ponds on property also. We can’t wait to tell our friends and come again next year. It is located right outside of a neat little town of Aledo. It’s a MUST!

Excellent owner-operated cabin camping experience for our family in Aledo! Dog-friendly. Game room, gym, concessions, shady patio, disc golf course. The immaculate cabins were comfortable, outfitted with WiFi - provided a break from the humidity and peaceful sleep. The kids spent hours playing independently at the playground and splash pad. Parent hack: start the campfire around 20 mins before your kids are done playing in the splash pad - it automatically shuts off at 9pm. Our kids caught 2 tiny frogs, fished in the ponds, explored in the golf carts and made memories that will last a lifetime. We cuddled by the fire, enjoyed some ice cream the owner served us and are already planning our next trip back. Thank you, Allen and family, for hosting us and creating a space for our family to enjoy and savor during our time in the Quad Cities area.

My family and I had a fantastic time here at this campground. It is a fabulous place to have a fun relaxing vacation with friends and family. We decided to stay in the cabins, and they definitely did not disappoint. Everything we would need, the cabin came with it. We spent the mornings riding around exploring all the trails on the golf cart, and ended the evenings with s'mores over the campfire and watching the fireflies. When we are in the area again, this is definitely the place we will be staying!

Haven Hills Campground and Resort is an absolute gem in the quaint town of Aledo, IL. My husband and our 2 dogs took advantage of their early bird discount and booked 5 days and 4 nights in their King cabin. This brand new campground has it all. We cannot wait to visit again! Thank you to Allen and the rest of the staff for an incredible getaway!
