What Guests Are Saying
Dam West Campground offers large, clean sites, many with beautiful lake views, and is well-maintained with friendly, helpful staff. Guests appreciate the calm lake for activities like boating and swimming, as well as the nearby town amenities. While there is only one dump station, leading to potential wait times, overall experiences are positive, making it a favorite destination for campers.

This site is awesome!! Lots of room. We had 2 tents plus our camper. Still had lots of room. It was super clean. The bathrooms and showers are really really clean. The whole campsite was wonderful. Lots of little critters to see and some big ones😂. I would stay here forever if I could!!!!!

I my very happy with the camp host and the hospitality they offer. I hope they continue having a balance of 1st come and reserve. It is great that you can go out and get a campsites the middle of the week and stay over the weekend even if you don't have a reservation

When you have to book a site months in advance to then be forced to have a visual presence every day requiring us to drive 45 minutes when we weren’t able to dedicate ourself to our camper - while we would have enjoyed being able to stay at the campground the entire reservation the days we couldn't still required us to spend/waste 90 minutes

Site 75 is a handicapped accessible site. I qualified for said site. I found the site to be quite unlevel (even though it is fully concreted). Also, the site had all kinds of debris on it which if there was a wheelchair being used, it would be more difficult to move around on this site.

Excellent campground and great host Wendy. Hope keep a portion of this campground first come basis. Only complaint showers were extremely hot , unsafe for small children.
