North Sandusky/Rend Lake is the destination we look forward to the most during our summer camping adventures. This year we stayed in Wood duck at North Sandusky. After 6 years consistently staying at Rend Lake (North Sandusky) this is the 1st time we have to rate is a 3/5 because the sulfur smell was awful! That is something that must be addressed.

North Sandusky, Wood duck site 54. Problems with Power at the pedestal. Had to borrow an extension cord and use power from site 55, could only use 30 amp.

We love Rend lake and N Sandusky but this site needs a lot of work. It’s a waterfall and small pond when it rains. There is not grass as it’s all shade. Which is nice in the heat. But the tree roots are horrible and a trip hazard.
The new sewer substation is on the backside of this site and the smell can be overwhelming.

North Sandusky is always a great place to stay. The full hookup campsites are nice. Cell service is a little sketchy but you can usually get service. ATT and T-Mobile are your best options. Verizon is spotty at best. One of our favorite places.

Clean, quiet. Nice playground in the day-use area for the kids. Great concrete walk/bike path 12 miles long to South Sandusky. Lots of birds and an occasional deer if you watch for them.
