Was our second visit to the campground is very well kept and very friendly and helpful staff.
Only thing that was annoying was we had other campers going threw our campsite at all hours they had a boat parked in the water behind our site and were very loud.

Very beautiful place, but they need to do some tree trimming so limbs don’t rub down the side of your camper when pulling in and out.

Sweet Gum loop is pretty flat, and the sites are big. With only eight spots it was extremely quiet even on Memorial day weekend. Bathroom and shower house was an easy walk from the loop.

Being an older person, we don't really take in a lot of activities. For the elderly among us, I have an issue with the asphalt pads. Some are starting to break off at the edges and are a tripping hazard. But all-in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Site 99 — we were very satisfied with our site, however the others up the road from us had sewer hookups. We did not, neither did #100. I chose as close to the water as I could, if I was aware of the sewer availability close by, I would have reserved there. We are very new to this so I have a lot to learn. It was great having showers available in the park.
I loved the shade & tree cover, but our Starlink was obstructed to the north so WiFi was non-existent. I will have to learn how to check for that when booking. Again, lots for me to learn.

Getting There
From I-57 take exit 77 and turn west on Route 154. After 4.5 mi turn south onto Rend City Road. Continue through the four-way stop and follow signs to the campground.

The campground is accessible via I-57, with exit 77 leading to Route 154, which is approximately 4.5 miles from the exit. Route 154 connects to Rend City Road, which provides access to the campground.

General
- All campers MUST register/ check-in with gate attendant upon arrival to receive site and vehicle tags.
- Camping equipment is required to be placed on the campsite; one camper with a maximum of three tents OR four tents per site are permitted. Sites may NOT be reserved for parking of vehicles.
