We had a good experience at this campground. The staff is great and the surroundings are gorgeous. There were three issues that detracted from our weeklong stay. The campsites are very unlevel and the camper pads are in horrible condition. Getting leveled up was quite a chore. Unlike what the campground description says cellular coverage is spotty at best and we had all three major carriers in our group. Lastly the shower house was one of the nicest and cleanest I’ve seen. If only there had actually been hot water to shower with it would have been great.

First of all North Sandusky is SO spacious!! It is so clean and quiet. So much room in between spots. Fishing is just a walk down to the river. We will be staying again and again.

The campsite was beautiful with the view of the lake on 3 sides. It was well manicured and clean. The bathrooms and the shower building was very clean. There were many beautiful species of birds which include great blue herons, great white herons and american white pelicans. My wife and I loved our stay. Rend lake is a wonderful place to visit and camp.
