We love this campground and have been there twice. A great walking/bike path is within walking distance. Plenty of space between spaces. You can even walk down to the lake and fish off the bank. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Great playground for kids.

Very nice campground. All the sites are fairly level, very roomy and well spaced out. The shower house was always clean and they have several that are handicap accessible. Campground hosts were helpful in answering questions about area activities. We really enjoyed the 11 mi of paved bicycle trail that goes thru the campground. Deer and turkeys were spotted in the campground and on the trail.

It was our first time camping We just bought a camper on 7/31/23.
Lot 146 was a good lot. Little to no slope for the parking pad and lot. Long enough for 37’ travel trailer and two vehicles. Plenty of shade.
Shower house was close
to our lot and was very clean. We liked the shower house in that there was four lockable units so you had your own lockable unit to use shower and toilet.
Great place for riding bicycles.
I would recommend South Sandusky Campground and lot 146. Only thing that would have made it better is if we would have had sewer hookup in addition to water and electric. All was great!

Great campground! Campsites are large and there is plenty of space between campsites. No interstate traffic and very quiet at night. Beautiful lake just a few steps from each campsite.

The campsite was nice but the fire pit was not clean the bike trail was good. The shower house is nice and clean but the water volume was so bad that you could barely get the soap rinsed out of your hair. The host were friendly and helpful. Over all good experience but soap in the bathroom to wash your hands and better water volume would be a big improvement
