As always love our stay at Rend Lake. Great weather, hardly any bugs and the grass gets cut. The site was clean. It's our favorite place to camp, it's a spoiler.

Great campground! Sites are reasonably level and spacious. We chose full hookups and we're very pleased with the hookups. There is a very nice playground on the loop we stayed. Roads are well paved.

Nice campground. Well forested sites available, as well as lake view sites. Choose carefully!
We were on PineTree 193 which I'd rate poorly. Our slope was too much for our auto-levelers, and the sewer connection was at the front of my RV and uphill from the tank outlet at the back of my RV. My 20' of sewer drain could not reach and the uphill connection was too much!! Electric connection was good as was power supplied (kept our AC's running in the heat.) All breakers were ON when we went to hook up.
We had to use the dump site at the entrance and there was no water hookup for our black tank flush. Check-in time is hard and fast - no early check-ins here. We were confronted by the ranger right as we checked in before we had a chance to post the occupancy card - get your cards up fast! Frankly that was insane!
The bike trail is nice and 12 miles end-to-end, mostly concrete. South Sandusky is 5 miles from North Sandusky and 7 miles from the end at South Marcum. Beach looked decent but didn't use it - there is a day fee. Visitor Center is nice and recommended.
