The Mill restaurant in Sesser is a great place to eat if you want a night off from cooking and of course a visit to The Custard Stand in Sesser if a must! Also, I recommend going throw the Jail Museum in Benton.

Campsite and restrooms at the primitive site was clean and kept nicely. However, there was quite a bit of trash lingering off into the woods and rocky bank beside our site that I felt could have been picked up before our stay.

Campsites are really nice. Bathroom in Dogwood wasn’t that great. Could use a weekly cleaning. Love Rend Lake so will always return.
