Was our first family camping trip! They have a gorgeous beach and the campgrounds are very clean. The shower house was super amazing and there’s a private set and in others there’s stalls which we did use both lol! Very family friendly and a perfect bike trail as well!

I have one concern people drive way too fast though pin oak loop, cutting through to other camping areas.

We decided to move campsites to extend our stay to a full hookup site versus just electric as a reservation someone else had was cancelled. We were not able to modify the first change as it was for the same dates as the current reservation so according to the Rend Lake conservation center and your phone service the only way was to cancel with the $10 fee and reschedule for the same dates at the other campground. When we wished to stay on the site due to another cancellation again we had a reservation for the same day this time same campground again the only way to modify was by cancelling with the $10 dollar fee and rebooking. We ended up paying A total of $30 in fees to stay the same length of time but on one campsite versus moving around. If you offer the modify option and it doesn’t work I don’t feel we should be charged.
Other than that all the workers are great in trying to assist and the grounds are managed and kept well with improvements every time we go. Just fix the programming for modifications. Thank you
