This is one of our favorite places to stop on road trips! We appreciate the electric and water hookups at the sites. The sites are spacious and always in good shape. Very clean shower houses too! This will continue to be a regular stop on our road trips!

We were treated very badly by the female officer on duty the weekend we were there. She was very rude to multiple members of our party Her attention to us was almost harassment. There were multiple people camping that weekend that voiced the same opinion

We come every year for my family reunion and have been for many years! I have always loved our time at South Sandusky! However, this year the park rangers were a little bit too much. Instead of explaining things or asking our rather large group to do something different the rangers were confrontational. We were basically told that if we want to continue coming that we should look in to their private campgrounds that they offer. We will still come back, as this is the tradition, but I left our reunion for the first time ever feeling disappointed in our stay.
