Good, clean sites, friendly and helpful staff. Some of the turn-around circles could be widened and made more level. The one near site 186 has several scrapes in the pavement from campers bottoming out. Additional trash containers could be placed within the park as well. Other than those issues, this is a great place to camp.

We really enjoy camping at South Sandusky. The grounds are well maintained, and the paved trails are simply outstanding. The grounds crew do an excellent job keeping the trails cleaned of debris that falls after any storm.
We generally like to camp in the sites with full hookups and really wish they would upgrade more sites to full hookups, or at least add water to all of the sites. We will be back at South Sandusky several times over the camping season.
