South Sandusky sits on the west side of the lake between North Sandusky campground and the visitors center. It is convenient to the walking/biking trail and the beach. The town of Benton which offers a Walmart and a variety of fast-food restaurants is not too far away. There isn't too much to the town of Benton. The biggest attraction is the lake itself. It's large and beautiful with a marina for boat rental.

- Campers must check in with the gate attendant upon arrival for site and vehicle tags.
Site capacity
- Camping equipment must be on-site, with a maximum of three tents for one camper, or four tents per site. Sites cannot be reserved for vehicle parking.
