I really like this campground. My only complaint would be all the cigarette butts left in the campsight. Ours had 100s and my daughter’s sight had a couple dozen

This is the second time we've stayed at South Sandusky campground. The loop we stayed in was the furthest from the entrance. Having bikes was a great way to enjoy the excellent paved trails around Rend Lake. The bathrooms were clean and private. The showers/bathroom are individual. On a crowded weekend there might be a wait to use them.
Each camp site was spacious and private, and very clean. We would definitely return. Kudos to the Corps for providing such nice and affordable camping.
