Very nice campground! We stayed for 10 nights in site 176 and 186. Both very nice sites with FHU. In the last 2 trips to South Sandusky, we have witnessed many campers walking their dogs and not one picked up after them. If you take your dog camping pick up after them or leave them at home!

This is one of our favorite campgrounds to stop at when we travel to and from Colorado. The sites are very spacious with everything that we need. The restrooms are always very clean! We will be staying here next year on our way out west!

Such a beautiful park. My only suggestion is to have exhaust fans in restroom/bathhouse. It is unbelievably hot in them. I went in one morning after it was cleaned with bleach...not a good combination of heat, closed room and bleach! In fact, that is a serious health concern.

My family and I stayed here for the July 4th weekend. Our first time here and we will definitely be back. We drove 2 1/2 hrs and it was well worth it. I love the grouping of campsites. Made our campsite so easy to find. Very good signage all around Rend lake. Everything was nice and clean. The park staff were so pleasant and informative. The cost of the sites are very reasonable
There was a very nice beach close by. The visitors center had activities that appealed to all ages. There are a few nice restaurants close by as well as custard and ice cream shops. DG’s also, in case you need anything last minute.
I’m from Indiana and we commented that our State parks need to take some major notes.
