Great place to stay very quiet! The bathrooms are very clean. Only issue I have is that check- out is at 4:00pm. I watched two people have to rush to get out of a spot because people showed up two hours early even though check in isn’t till 4pm! Something needs to be done about that.

Really enjoyed Campsite #68. Nice shade, right on the river, and really flat.

Mid week. we got a site right on the river. Was able to pick the site in person and pay for it right there on my phone. Went to gate house when it opened and picked up the paper to put on the site post. Very convenient.
Campground is well cared for and has beautiful views. Being right on the river, bugs are bad sometimes, not bad other times. That's nature. Lots of flowers and wildlife to view. Railroad is far enough away that train noises were not obnoxious, as they sometimes are at Mississippi river campgrounds.
Only downside to the campground is that some sites are too close together.

This is a beautiful campground. We were in site 102. It was shaded, level and plenty large enough for our 32 ft class A motorhome. My only comment is that the showers had no curtain or divider between the shower area and the area where you left your shoes and clothes. I tried really hard to keep my things away from the spray, but my clothes and shoes got a little wet! We enjoyed looking for turtles in the slough and watching the birds. Lovely area!
