Many sites were low and prone to flooding. The sites were well placed. Bicycle riding was Ok.

Wonderful. Went across the river to Iowa to a brewery and see the windmill. Thomson was beautiful. Gorgeous sunsets. Everyone is so friendly. Not a lot to do for kids older than maybe 4, so it stays quiet for the most part.

All the pads were concrete and very level requiring very little leveling. The views were excellent as we were on the point near the Mississippi. Would like to have water nearer the coach but we came prepared with our own holding tank of water. Facilities were excellent for showering and bathrooms.

Very nice campground!! This is only electricity and I prefer full hook ups but the river view cheaper price was worth the extra work!! I would recommend Thomson causeway to anyone.

This is a really nice spot. It's close to the Mississippi River - you can walk right up to the water's edge. The sites were level and spacious. The park was clean and well kept. Most of the campers were families and everyone seemed well behaved. There was a vault toilet right in the camp area, with the more modern facility with showers up the hill away from the water, presumably to protect from flooding.
