Very nice park that we stay at several times a year. The park seems to always be making improvements. Very relaxing place. Nice biking up to Savannah or South to Fulton.

Beautiful park, located on the Mississippi River. Bike path access from the campground. Sunsets spectacular over the river. Sites spacious, clean and water and electric hook- up. Close to a small town that can cover any needs.

Site 118 was incredible. Didn’t use any facilities so can’t rate but the grounds were kept up nicely

Very clean, well maintain property. Beautiful views and so enjoyable to watch the animals and they’re young traverse and swim the area. The turtles were laying eggs and the college students were there to notate and document which gave us opportunities to question them about the turtles the Rangers were beyond helpful and so enjoyable to discuss their jobs. Then you add the most helpful posts and they even had an RV tech on site. Most awesome!

LOTS OF TURTLES :) We have been to this campground a few times, this trip was a little disappointing , the weeds in the gravel were kind of crazy under the table some being a foot tall. We cook all of our meals over a fire this was complicated by the fire ring being over half full of ashes, our campsite did not have the nice adjustable cooking rack just the flip over one position rack. Wi-Fi was good outside the camper allowed me to work from campsite. We camped for a week, did a day trip about everyday, there is a lot to do in the area or within a short drive. Quite campground for the most part, expect for the DOGS i love animals, just don't understand the owners that sit next to barking dog like it is normal for a dog to bark for 15 minutes or longer.

We had beautiful site 128 tent we had the Mississippi River, the sunset was beautiful. Definitely coming back.

General
- New check-out/set up times this year: Campsites available to set up on at 2 pm, you may set up earlier than 2 pm if the campsite is vacant
- All campers must check-in on the day of arrival during fee booth hours.
- Fee booth hours are: Monday - Wednesday - Thursday - Sunday - Mondays of holiday weekends
- Campsites 33, 79-97, and 127-131 do not have water available at each campsite. You are able to fill up your holding tank at the dump station or from a water faucet. Campers must unhook from water faucet when done filling holding tank.
- Please make sure to empty or flush your water and waste tanks at the designated dump station drains only. Emptying tanks, including freshwater tanks, on roadways, parking lots, campsites or other areas in the park is prohibited. Also, dumping or emptying water or waste tanks, including freshwater tanks, on state, county or city roads is illegal per state statutes. Thank you for your cooperation.
- Campers using a discount card are required to verify their discount card number during check-in by providing the discount pass and a photo ID.
- Only one RV and two tents will be allowed on RV sites. The only exception is if there is no RV on site, in which case you may have three tents.

- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Firewood can be purchased in the campground during the hours of 5 pm to 8 pm nightly for $6 per bundle from the on-site firewood shed. Use the QR code at the firewood shed to pay for firewood using a credit card. No cash or checks are accepted for firewood sales.
