We rented spots 095 & 098, liked this loop, not a lot of traffic & had views of the river. If you want a shady spot rent 098, sun & partial shade on spot 095. Bathrooms in the park were clean. Would recommend for relaxing weekend. Did not take advantage of all to see because we visited during Covid pandemic. Will go back again when we can truly enjoy all activities in the area.

I love this campground. It is on an island in the Mississippi river. It is quiet, beautiful, well treed, lots of walking trails, boat launches for your small motor boats or kayaks. Fantastic wildlife viewing. Just an incredible place. The camp hosts are very nice as well. I will come back again and again!

This was our first trip to Thomson and we will absolutely be back! We went in mid-September. The weather was perfect and setup was simple and easy. The staff were all friendly and easy to access, and we got to enjoy a lot of local fishing. The actual campsite is beautiful and has lots of room for walking the beautiful grounds and exploring. Can't wait for spring!!

Always love Thomson Causeway. Our site unfortunately had a power box that wasn’t working but they were able to move us to a site that was even better. No complaints. We’ll be back. One of our all time favorite campgrounds.

We always meet the nicest people here! Beautiful views. The Rangers and staff are always so helpful and knowledgeable. Sunsets are the best, river traffic is fun to watch, wild life is abundant (I mean the natural kind - not the party kind - ha ha). The campground is quiet and well kept, the hosts are great. No complaints and we stay here several times a year.

Fire pits do not get cleaned. Many low branches over roadways and sites. Dead trees dropping branches near and on sites.
