This was our first time ever visiting the park. We (my wife and 2 yr old) tent camped in site 410 this weekend 5/2. The park as a whole was amazing! Very clean and family friendly were the first thoughts we had.
TONS of playsets for kids, a little village, fishing ponds, and awesome showers that were like a residential type shower, not the usual all block or commercial grade shower. The FREE firewood was such a blessing and we were very thankful for that!
We stayed 2 nights; and each day we would see park staff leaf blowing sidewalks, pavilions, wiping down picnic tables, and checking the trash cans.
The park roads were excellent, park staff super friendly and caring.
We road our bicycles all around the park to explore and had such a fun time letting our 2yr old play on so many of the playsets.

*I will say the only negative thought we had, was that at least from where our site was, we could hear the guests from the cabins up on the hill across from Deer Lake. The guests that were in one of them were loud both nights and we could nearly hear their conversations if they talked loudly. If laughter erupted, it would echo very loudly, seemingly through the whole park. Just luck of the draw I guess on if you are there when those cabin guests are more quiet. Not anything negative on the campground itself, just the way it was with whoever was staying at those cabins.

OVERALL
10/10 would come here again, and we plan to tent camp here more this summer.

This campground and park is very pristine and beautifully maintained. Quiet and peaceful far from crowds. A great place for family gatherings. So many playgrounds, shelter houses and even a wedding chapel that is adorable. They have basic cabins for rent that sleep 6-8 people. Only basic sink and refrigerator, but nice porch, air conditioning, bathroom. The camping spots are mostly wooded and about 1/2 along the creek. Love it here in So. Indiana near English.

Absolutely beautiful! Can't say enough great things about this park. We tent camped and it was fantastic, even FREE wood! They go beyond to take care of this park. In one day the restrooms were cleaned at least 3 times that I know of for sure. The showers were amazing and super spacious! We will definitely be going back 💚
