About Hardin Ridge

Hardin Ridge is a 1,200-acre recreational complex located on the shores of Monroe Reservoir in Hooiser National Forest. The complex includes six shady campground loops, two picnic areas with shelters, and two rental cabins. The area offers something for everyone, with activities like camping, picnicking, boat launching, swimming, nature walks, and interpretive programs offered in a forested environment.

Hardin Ridge is absolutely my favorite camping spot in Indiana. I love bringing my family and friends to enjoy this amazing wilderness, minutes from downtown B-Town.

The workers were very rude! Made accusations about our campsite that were false. Changed the rules of the campground multiple times. Had a horrible experience.

Campsite was clean and well kept. Had my bike and rode around the area, lots of hills so it was a moderate ride. Hiked the valley trail, overall the trail was well-maintained, I would suggest wearing hiking boots because of the terrain.
