Pine Site #185
Had a great time camping here. Site 185 was large and level. The sites are spaced out nicely with no neighbors behind or across the road. The shower house/bathrooms were very clean and the camp hosts do a great job. Had good reception with Verizon. The only downside was the abundance of ticks.

Clean bathrooms and campsites with friendly staff! Aluminum can recycling was available too. The sites are somewhat separated as they are tucked in to the trees. Many sites require a few steps to get from the parking pad down to the tent pads.

3 families spent a few days here. 3 members had ticks on them & we didn’t even get in the woods or hike! The dog also had 4 ticks on her! Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Would like to see some playground improvements - not much of a playground at all. Maybe also install some swings?

Overall nice sites and good amenities.
Sasquatch hunt was a big hit with the kids.
Cleanliness was really good.
Would be nice if we're paying for all the features that things like the hand dryer in the rest room would work and tent pads were a finer gravel or preferably sand.

Hardin Ridge is a gem! I always use Southern Point for non-electric camping. It is one of the very, very few places where someone like me who comes to the woods for the woods can escape the RV parking lot syndrome. I see that even the RV loops are spacious and wooded, so that is also an asset. Please do not let anything happen to this treasure.
The staff is wonderful. If I have even the slightest problem, they are there to help. I see many of the same faces each time I come and I value that. Please keep hiring caring and competent people.
I love Hardin Ridge.

Great camper sites. Nicely treed, spread out, quiet, affordable, shower houses pretty clean. Shower houses could use some updating.

We love coming to Hardin Ridge. The campsites are all spacious and wooded. The bathrooms are well maintained and sites kept up. Prices are great too compared to state parks in the area.

We had a peaceful, relaxing weekend camping at Hardin Ridge. The sites are big and roomy. You are not stuffed in like sardines.

Excellent! This campground is outstanding forsomeone who wants to camp in a quiet, private, peaceful, generator free space surrounded by beautiful forest. Not your typical “loop” setup so no neighbors surrounding you. I will be back again and again!
