Raceview Family Campground

This place was more quieter than expected. Lots was decent size and restrooms was clean and adequate size stalls. Firewood was good size and burned ok.

Been going to this campground for the past few years for the INDY 500 the only thing is after the race good luck getting back 😆 lot lizards are insane

A nice campground with inviting and friendly owners, people here are welcoming and it's always a blast everytime i come!

The location was very convenient to the tract that’s where the good stops . Upon arrival the sites are poorly marked at the back of the sites. There is absolutely no water or septic at the sites. The restrooms are literally a whole in the ground(outhouse) No where to wash hands(no water).The bath house is a joke 4 showers for the men so I’m sure women’s is the same. Cheap shower curtains that blow open ever time outside door opens.cant use parking up front unless you wanna pay $40 a day. charged me extra after I arrived for camping fee.every time I turned around they wanted more money for basic needs while camping. The 5mph speed limit isn’t inforced quite time isn’t inforced people blowing air horn all hours kids on atvs & golf carts running wild all night . It was by far the worst camping experience we have ever had much less the most expensive. When I expressed my concern the ladies was like (we don’t care if you stay here or not! ) This is a $20-$25 a night camp ground at tops most certainly do not recommend staying a week for the us nationals race where they make you rent more nights than u need to start with was very disappointing!!!!!!!!!!

I give the location 5 stars. I give the campground 4 stars. One star less because I needed full room up even though there is a dump station.

The guy with white hair deserves 5 stars. He can diffuse any situation and is definitely a people person.
The woman..older woman.....rude. she accused me of sharing my wristband for people to come in and party.
1) I worked the event this weekend. I had a rental truck coming in and out dropping me, my husband, and baby off to our rv or picking us up. I said I would pay for the truck but they refused to give a sticker. So I figured all was well. When I came back in by myself, this is when I encountered tired this woman with a nasty attitude and accused me of this. 1) I dont care if I need to pay extra for the truck or a person driving us in and out. I can afford it. 2) I dont like being accused when I overpaid for a site and kept it quiet and clean. 3) the rulebook they gave you, states we can have visitors until midnight. So im not sure why this woman came at me so hard. Especially when there were massive LOUD parties all night long until let's say 3am.
That's okay though. But not a pick up and drop off ride.
For the fact she has issue with people ripping her sticker pass off and trying to duplicate it, is in fact not my problem.
I will just stay at the track next year as it has the same amenities as the campground and no harassment everytime I come in or out, or rude attitude. I will never stay here again and I will voice my opinion if anyone asks me if they should stay there as well when we all travel up for an event.
