Adventure Bound Kamp Modoc

The campground is clean and quiet. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Great fishing and a really nice swimming area and playground for the kids to enjoy. We did have a minor plumbing issue in our cabin but it was after hours when we noticed so we weren't able to inform staff until the next morning. No big deal-it didn't affect how much we enjoyed our stay! Otherwise the room was excellent and the air conditioning gave us some much-needed relief from the heat wave we were in during our stay. The wi-fi wasn't great but that wasn't a problem for us since we go camping to unplug and enjoy nature. Overall, it's one of the best campgrounds we've been to in Indiana and we will definitely be making plans to come back.

After seeing the reviews from the past week I want to add my take.
As someone from the same religious background as the group in question I can 100% say they were not discriminated against for their beliefs.
As someone who spends every weekend possible there, I have to say the campground staff is fantastic. Yes, they make us follow rules but I appreciate those rules.
From speaking with others who were around this week, the group in question were the ones being disrespectful and unruly. This is from multiple sources - not just campground staff. I hate that they represented themselves in such a way.
Kamp Modoc is a great place - for families, children, everyone. Keep it up.

We are seasonal campers and truly enjoy EVERYTHING about the campground. The campground employees are very respectful and the campground is very well kept. Friendly and courteous campers as well as staff. I highly recommend this campground for families with children of all ages because they do things for kids and adults. Good job!!!! Keep up the awesome work

We have been seasonal campers at AB Camp Modoc for three years now. I love it even more now than when we first came. The management and staff are some of the best people and take our safety seriously. We love seeing the place full up on the weekends and holidays but also know it adds to their workload. Even when those weekenders are difficult they do their job very well.. some of us help out by reminding those that aren’t there all the time to please slow down to the 5 MPH and not use others campsites as pass through for their own benefit. Camping etiquette is VERY important! Thank you to the staff here at AB camp Modoc for all your hard work.

This is our second season as seasonal campers at AB Kamp Modoc. My husband, three young daughters, and I have always felt welcomed and valued as campers.
We dress modestly at the lake because of religious beliefs and we have NEVER been singled out for that. The staff and management have been thorough, completely clear on rules and expectations, and nothing but completely professional.
This is the fourth campground that we have camped as “seasonals” in 11 years and AB Kamp Modoc is by far our favorite. Their hook-up accommodations, cleanliness, and jammed-packed activity calendar appeal to every member of our family. We especially love walking the campground in the evenings. The property is stunning and beautifully kept.
We are thankful for Kamp Modoc and the memories that we have made and are making there!
