Misthaven Camp Resort

This review is purely from a Disc golf perspective, so I can’t speak on the camping. But this course doesn’t seem to be maintained any longer. Trees and branches that were down in the middle of fairways 2 years ago are still down now. They now charge 7 dollars to play which is more expensive than any other course I’ve played in Indiana. I honestly don’t even mind paying that much because the course Design is very fun and I’ve played it for years, but if you are gonna charge people this much the course should look pristine. You don’t think it would be that hard to get out there with a chainsaw and clean some of these things up, it could be done in a day or two. Or heck even hire someone to do it.
It’s very obvious the new owners don’t care about the disc golf course or its History.

The disc golf course was the first in indiana and family friendly grounds. My special needs kid loved playing here and now he can't.

Our very first ever camping experience occurred at Misthaven Camping Resort and it was wonderful! We rented Cabin #1 (the cabin nearby the swimming pool) and it was so idyllic. The Misthaven staff were super friendly, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable; they know their stuff and are very resourceful and accommodating.

Our cabin had an air-conditioner which was much appreciated. The bed was just the right size for our needs. We also had a mini-fridge, and nice porch, and were not far from the pool and the campground's main office. The communal restroom facilities were conveniently located and adequate.

Misthaven Camping Resort was the venue for a weekend event we were attending, and we were so happy we decided to stay in the cabin (as opposed to the hotel option).

Wonderful!!! Very inclusive, judgement free zone!!! Love the atmosphere, the vibe, and the people!!! Try to come out and enjoy a weekend, especially when Jessica has a drag show on!!!

We loved staying here for a couple nights! It was peaceful and low-key. We brought our pups and they enjoyed walking around as well. The only thing I would be aware of is the cell service isn't great. Definitely recommend visiting here 😊
