Hoffman Lake Campground

This campground is located a short distance off the highway which we found convenient. This was our first time here. It's a lovely family owned campground with pretty landscaping. We were surprised that out of 200 sites, 150 of them are seasonal. We were glad we were able to get a lot for the night. The amenities are nice and although the bathrooms & showers are older they were clean. The pool area is nice for both adults & kids. We booked a pull through site overlooking the lake (W/E only which was okay for a short stay). What a pretty view of the sunrise in the mornings! The only complaint we really had was how narrow our particular lot was. Our camper is a total of 34' with 2 slideouts. With our short-bed truck we were maxed out on our lot length and really wouldn't have had enough room to park the truck to the side or across the front without obscuring our views while sitting outside. The lots had a great mixture of sun & shade. The campground is quiet and family friendly. We will definitely come to this campground again!

Great sites if you are camping with friends/family as you are back to back and close together.

The view of the lake from the site changes as more campers arrive. The majority of the CG are seasonal campers, most of the lots are well maintained and the campground has plenty of shade and the birds are active. Huge old growth maples and walnuts throughout the campground provided a decent amount of shade during our stay.

The restrooms are decent and very clean, 3 stalls and urinals with 5 showers in the men’s bathroom. The water was hot and a decent amount of room to change clothes and keep them dry during the shower.

The pool looks very nice, we floated in the lake. The south end of the CG has a nice beach area with boat ramp.

Prompt service from the owners when we had a few questions and the seasonal campers were extremely nice when talking to them!

Hoffman Lake is a wonderful family friendly campground! With a park, splash pad, a basketball court, a beach, and a pool you can't go wrong if you have kids! Fishing is great too! Every weekend the campground hosts various games and crafts! There's also an arcade! The camp store is well stocked with essentials, including firewood and propane,and has hand dipped ice cream and soft serve as well. You can even have pizzas made at the camp store and delivered to your site! I cannot say enough good things about Hoffman Lake! We loved it so much we became seasonal campers!

We had a group of 3 rvs and 1 tent. When reservations were first made 1 site was not connected to the other 2 but when we got there they had rearranged so we could all be together. The extra effort was greatly appreciated. Don't let the"rules" and fines scare you off. We were worried that the owners were going to be heavy handed but were quite pleasant with all interactions. Even suggested if we come back how we could set up on an alternate way so all 3 campers form a horseshoe with coming area in the middle. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Adjustable water temperature in the showers would be nice instead of the push button style. Also if you think there is any chance that someone may come to visit and end up staying the night then count them in your original reservation. Our daughter came to visit and there is a 5 dollar fee for visitors. She was tired and had an hour drive home so she stayed in our camper. I understand trying to ruin s business but our daughter came late ate supper, slept, and left in the morning. She didn't use the pool or realy other amenities. Trying to respect the owners rules on visitors I notified her that she was staying and had to pay another 5 dollars. Over all though the stash was wonderful. We were right on the lake and the price was very reasonable. We were in sites 26, 27, and 28. I would like to return in the future and would recommend others to give it a try.

Hidden gem! Tucked in behind the lake. The sunrise was gorgeous. Even with all the comforts of the RV we chose to cook on the fire only going inside to sleep. The family run camp is perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
