What Guests Are Saying
Griff's Valley View RV Park is praised for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and nice amenities like concrete pads and fishing opportunities for kids. Guests appreciate the calm atmosphere and the absence of a weekend crowd, making it ideal for long stays. While some minor issues like nearby farm equipment and railroad noise were mentioned, they did not detract significantly from the overall positive experience.

My mom is staying there again. I love having her so close. Her neighbors seemed nice. The park is clean and it seems like a quiet place, until I visit of course, lol. Me and my darn loud musicđ€Łđ€Ł

Just realized I never left my honest review!
Me and my fiancĂ© stayed here back in May 2024 up until around October 2024 so we stayed here for 6 months! We moved into our camper full time and this was the one place close by that had year round camping until August 2024 we found out we were pregnant therefore living in a camper was not ideal for us as our camper was not big enough to raise a baby In not to mention we have two 50lb dogs that also lived in the camper with us! Anyway October comes around we found a house since we were EXPECTING A BABY and do I agree that we could have given them a notice yes I do regret that but we ended up leaving the park (mind you we are not in a signed agreement or contract) so we left thinking it wouldnât be a big deal and I texted the lady in the office to let her know we left and she called at 8am yelling at me telling me that âyou cant just up and leaveâ and âWE EXPECTED YOUR REVENUEâ also stating that she turned down other people for us to have a lot of meanwhile there were probably 30 other lots that had just opened up due to prairie meadows season coming to an end and most of the out of state workers reside. Theyres also 2 full time ladyâs that stay at this park and they harass you and knit pick at anything you do! Anyway we wonât be back not very nice, not very understanding and not sympathetic at ALL!

Griff's is a wonderful RV park, the best place in the DSM area to stay. The place is kept very clean, and there are lots of nice amenities like concrete pads, mail and package service, and propane filling. We stayed for about 2 months there, and the only negative I can come up with is that sometimes they would drive heavy farm equipment through the park, but it's a farm, they're just doing their jobs! There is a railroad nearby that you can hear, but it's not loud, and the park is near the Ankeny airport, so there are often planes flying overhead. Staff is super nice and helpful. The community is very calm and relaxed, there is no weekend crowd like at some campgrounds. I highly recommend Griff's, especially for long stays.

This was the first time we have stayed at this park. We are full-time RVers so we stay in lots of parks. This park is one of the nicer ones. Concrete pads. Good paved roads. And quiet. There is a very large Facebook data center nearby. You canât miss it. Driving to the park. But we didnât hear anything from it. Probably my only complaint is that there is a lot of corn nearby. We were there during harvest and Iâm quite allergic. Not the campgroundâs fault.

We arrived and had a mix up with spots but it was fixed immediately. The staff are friendly and helpful. The whole campground is clean and well kept. My kids loved the park behind one of the shelters and were able to go fishing in the pond. They also love the horses and got to go see them when we pull in. This was our 2nd time staying while visiting for the wrestling season and we will definitely be back. The scenery all around is beautiful and quiet.
