Schildberg Recreation Area Campground

This campground is great. Walking trails, kids playground, picnic area and amazing views.

It was nice quite little place to camp. It was only 25 dollars a night for full hookup. The camo host was easy to get along with.

We did not use any amenities aside from our site. This was a rest and reset before continuing our travels. Water had great pressure, power worked as it should. sites were ideal to simply pull into the drive and back right into our site. Convenient to Walmart.

I do want to suggest to keep higher standards on, what seem to be, long term guests property. I can see how first impressions can drive off business and drive down reviews. 5⭐️. Still love it.

This campground is great. Sites are level. Clean washrooms and showers are hot. Host was very helpful with directions. Beautiful place to walk around. Stayed Saturday night and it was quiet.check review of other Schildberg site also as it was my first review

Always have great time wonderful trails for exercise or just taking a break from day to day and enjoy nature leading to camping with amazing showers clean facilities right outside of them is a kids favorite park you can't go wrong 😀 on the otherside with trails leading to the dog park which has been my only complaint is there not facilitating the needs of hydrating not just our fur babies but us as well I understand it's labeled different but there is a great 3 type fountain at the shower house but unfortunately not where it's needed most ! That is the only reason for 4 instead of 5 hopefully there can be one installed soon
