Rest rooms very nice.
Area very peaceful.
However Lot 59 badly needs rock added to it, as each day after night rains we stepped out of our RV into to low spot puddles . Actually more like lakes.

We simply love the US Army Corp. parks! This was clean and very well managed. Our view of the lake/river was spectacular. Had a wonderful time watching the boats, skiers, etc. AND with the Iowa vs Iowa St football game just starting, we even had a military jet fly-over, a special and unexpected treat!

Booked electrical site for 5th wheel, not familiar with site layout regarding water access. Site was too far from water source to use even a hose, should make note on online reservation site of this. Then discovered electric did not work. There was no one we could contact about this until next morning. Once contacted DNR officer was excellent in getting repair staff to our site as well as credited us for nites stay. No regular campsite opened to cover our 9 day stay and without question placed us in an emergency backup site and corrected everything online. So after 6 inches of rain, moving camper 3 times we still felt happy with response. Telephone reception and internet very poor. Need to look at improving that since no one patrols or covers campground at night.

Very nice. clean, well kept. Nice spacious sites. Only drawback were the shower heads. Terrible.

The water from the spicket was brown and wound up fouling our RV's system. When I asked about the brown water, the answer at the check-in gate was "its always that way, just let it run for 3-4 mins." But even after that, if the water sat for an hour, it was brown all over again.

The whole Coralville Dam area is a great place to camp and visit. All the sites are nice. The only downside is the T-Mobile connection for our WiFi and phone connection

From Interstate 80 (Iowa City, IA) take Exit 244 towards Dubuque St./North Liberty. Travel north on Dubuque St. for 3 mi and turn right onto West Overlook Rd. NE. Travel on West Overlook Rd. NE for 1.1 mi. At the stop sign take a slight left turn....
From Interstate 80 (Iowa City, IA) take Exit 244 towards Dubuque St./North Liberty. Travel north on Dubuque St. for 3 mi and turn right onto West Overlook Rd. NE. Travel on West Overlook Rd. NE for 1.1 mi. At the stop sign take a slight left turn. The entrance to the West Overlook Campground will be located straight ahead.
From Interstate 380 (North Liberty, IA) take Exit 4 towards North Liberty. Travel east on W. Penn St. for 2 mi and turn right onto N Dubuque St. Travel south on N Dubuque St. for 1.9 mi, at the traffic circle, continue straight onto Dubuque St NE. Continue traveling south on Dubuque St. NE for 1.8 mi. Turn left onto West Overlook Rd. NE and travel east for 1.1 mi. At the stop sign take a slight left turn. The entrance to the West Overlook Campground will be located straight ahead.
