We have camped at Acorn Valley many times, at many different sites. As always the sites was clean and ready for our arrival. If only the weather had cooperated!

We had a great time and the weather was beautiful. We did have a rather large party of young people in the site next to us who continued talking and listening to music until after 2 am. They weren’t obnoxious but it would have been nice to have the quiet hours observed. We realize we were there on a busy weekend. Thankfully we thought to bring ear plugs. :-) Check in was great, campground and shower/bathrooms were clean. We would love to go back!

Website is very frustrating~ it’s like whatever made the least amount of sense in making reservations is what they went for!!

Great campsite. It was fairly quiet/empty while I stayed, but liked my private little walk-to campsite. The bathrooms have flush toilets and soap & water and were cleaned while I was there, which I appreciated! Definitely would camp here again.

Clean and well maintained. Very few other campers around when I went but I imagine that it can get pretty busy at times. Heard both barred and great horned owls as well as a family of coyotes. I was in walk in spot #89 for a tent and had a raccoon and her babies approaching right up behind me even with a fire going. Raccoons were rummaging around my tent in the middle of the night as well! This isn’t to complain but to just advise to be mindful of respecting boundaries and not feeding the wild animals as well as keeping your food and shelter secured.
