Bob Shetler Recreation Area is praised for its clean facilities, friendly staff, and spacious campsites, making it a great choice for campers seeking a peaceful retreat. The campground offers easy access to outdoor activities like biking and fishing, and the location near the dam adds to its charm. However, some visitors noted noise from nearby traffic and the need for updates in certain facilities, particularly the shower house.

We really like camping next to spillway and spacious spots. Love the fact it's right on the bike trail which is beautiful!

My first time ever staying at Bob's Shelter was October 16th & 17th 2020 and loved it! Was quiet but, it was a cold weekend so not many people out and my biggest thing was how clean the bathroom was compared to some campgrounds. Another thing that was impressive was how big and flat/level your space is. I definitely want to camp here again but it fills up so fast.
