Bob Shetler Recreation Area is praised for its clean facilities, friendly staff, and spacious campsites, making it a great choice for campers seeking a peaceful retreat. The campground offers easy access to outdoor activities like biking and fishing, and the location near the dam adds to its charm. However, some visitors noted noise from nearby traffic and the need for updates in certain facilities, particularly the shower house.

Bob's Shelter Campground has become a favorite of mine. It's fairly quiet and clean and just a comfortable place to be.

Very peaceful! Even though we were along the river with fishing activity, it was still quiet. Loved the spacious cement camping pads! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful campground with great level sites and lots of grass and green area between you and your neighbor! Campground hosts were very friendly! Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

We enjoy the COE campgrounds and found this campground to be of no exception. It is well cared for and reasonably priced for the overnight stay.
