The weather was beautiful! The shelters were clean and the area was well kept up, so it was a very pleasant atmosphere for our chess tournament. The kids had a great time and the parents loved the event.

Thank you so much! The facility was clean, the staff was very kind, and our guests thoroughly enjoyed their time. We loved having the playground so close to the shelter, the kids has a blast. We will be booking again in the future!

Very nice park, overall! Good for families who don't need to be right on the lake (this is just downstream from Saylorville Dam). Many shelter houses available for rent, volleyball courts, playgrounds, and lots of open space. Also serves as a good stopping point if you are biking on the Neal Smith Trail - it's the last park with modern bathrooms until you get to Des Moines!
