Hickory Haven Campground

This is a family managed campground and is taken good care of by the owner. I had a very large space and it was level with good hookups. The campground was very quiet and only a few miles from town. I would recommend and stay here again.

Too bad we can't give higher than 5 stars because this place definitely deserves higher than 5 stars. The owner is amazing and super helpful and nice. The people camping here are also super friendly as well. Super clean and very well up kept too. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and for such great service. We appreciate you! Great experience! I arrived after dark and the owner John got us in no problem. He even helped us get a stubborn fire started for an hour and helped us with the tent in the dark. Very nice guy, he was nice to my kids too who bugged him the whole time lol. We will be back.

We stayed at a tent site and really enjoyed the campground. John greeted us and raked the acorns off the ground where our tent went. Our kids loved the playground. The restrooms were kept very clean and the campground was very quiet. The only drawback is that the tent sites aren't very secluded from the campers and the drive paths. It was so quiet though when we were there (early October) that it didn't matter.

Nice campgrounds. Bathrooms were very clean. Playground for kids. The host was awesome!
