Very nice campground with well spaced sites and clean bathroom facilities. The camp host was very helpful in getting us a site. We never reserve ahead of time as we are traveling and never know for sure where will end up for the night. The lake there was way larger than I expected and want to go back another time and spend a few days there.

The only thing is campsite 96 the light from the bathroom completely ruins the night vibes, they should put a cover on the outside so the light isn’t so bad and allows night time around the campfire. Other than that stay was great! 😊

Pads aren’t level, we had a slope down as soon as you stepped out of camper. Most showers had issues and like warm water. This campgrounds needs an overhaul.

We always have a good time at Whitebreast Campground...Our cousins and us have been using the park for over 12 years, and the only issues we have are the condition of the picnic tables and especially the fire ring at site #77...Most of the picnic tables are in sorry shape and could use repairs...the fire ring at #77 is not and has not been usable for some time, while other sites that see little use have brand new fire rings! We will still be camping here for as long as we have left, but would appreciate your attention to this matter...

Very nice location! Maybe some better explanation of what has the best views! Chose one that I thought you could see the lake but it still worked out great!!

General
- Whitebreast does not have a reservation window. You MUST have a reservation prior to occupying a site.
- The fee booth is open 7 days per week: Monday through Thursday: . Friday through Sunday: & . Fee Booth phone number: (641) 842-2969.
- We offer a limited supply of firewood at the campground. If you want to ensure you have firewood for your stay, please plan on bringing your own supply. Travelers entering Iowa are strongly encouraged to leave out-of-state firewood behind.
- Camping units are restricted to one wheeled unit and two tents, or three tents per site. A maximum of eight persons per campsite is allowed.
- Parking or driving on the grass is not allowed. Boat trailers may be parked on the grass.
- Golf carts, UTVs, and ATVs are not permitted.
- Kiddie pools, slip-and-slides, and similar water-based play equipment are not permitted.
- Bounce houses and similar inflatable play equipment are not permitted.
