We stayed at White Breast campsite. It was very clean and quiet. Our stay was during the week. Bob (the front gate service man) was very helpful, professional. Access roads were good. We felt very safe during our three day stay. The only complaint was the water was not hot for showers. Hot water was available in the sinks, but "luke warm" at best for the shower. Our stay was in early May, so the staff may have not turned on all the hot water services yet. Needless to say, our shower was very brief, but invigorating.

Wonderful, well maintained park. Many lake view sites. Quiet. Friendly staff. Variety of birds added to the enjoyment.

We stayed in Site 91 at Coal Loop and loved it! We were in the end so our view was of the lake and no one else. Shower facilities were good, a bit dated but perfectly fine. Staff was so friendly. We enjoyed biking the paved trail and the m mountain bike trail in Pella just a quick drive away. We highly recommend Whitebreast campground

Online states check in at 2pm; however, no one is there until 3pm. Quiet hours are not enforced & no one to call. Beautiful campgrounds & spacious camp sites. Would also be helpful to know while there was a burning ban in Marion County…there were campfires allowed at campgrounds. Hope to go back!

The restroom outside is not Handicap accessible. Sidewalk runs downhill too steeply, no hand rail. The shower area is not wide enuf to roll wheelchair into the cubicle. Like that toilet area is set up for handicap use. We were in first camping area. Husband was quite unstable on hill, uses a cane, but could easily have gained too much momentum and possibly fallen forward head first. A sidewalk ramp would be a great asset to this bldg, coming near the handicap parking spot perhaps.
