Good campground, plenty of shade at #37

Great site right on the river only negatives are the loud trains that run all hours and narrow roads.

Friendly and helpful hosts clean restrooms and showers also updated electrical. Quiet place to stay (although the trains are rather noisy) with a good view of the river.

One of our favorites. Clean and love to watch the river.

Rangers were extremely helpful and informative.

I don't understand why there is a 2 hour time space between checking in and out. I have never seen the volunteers cleaning the sites. This isn't a hotel with turn down service. Check in 2, check out at 1. That gives campers extra in the morning

Terrific visit. Great people and families staying there. Not overly crowded. As a matter of fact, it was pretty quiet, especially during the day. There isn’t much to do close by outside of the campgrounds but if you are just looking for a quiet getaway, this is a good choice. The grounds are well kept and the bathrooms are clean.

My time at Clark’s Ferry was pleasant with it being located on the banks of the Mississippi River. It was in relatively close proximity to Rock Island, Davenport and Le Claire which I toured all three during my stay.
