What Guests Are Saying
Clark's Ferry is a well-maintained campground with clean facilities and beautiful views of the Mississippi River, making it a pleasant destination for camping and boating. The hosts are friendly and helpful, adding to the welcoming atmosphere, while the campground offers ample shade and spacious sites. However, the proximity to railroad tracks results in frequent train noise, which may be disruptive for some visitors.

Site was large enough for our 35 foot 5th wheel, it was level and there is plenty of room between sites. Used the potable water there and dump station- they need to trim the bushes around the dump station. We were impressed they closed a site for the bird nest. Baby killdeer are so cute! We got to watch numerous barges on the river. Very quiet at night except the trains, which do blow the horns. You can't hear anything but the train when it goes through. Travel about an hour to Clinton, Iowa, to find the Thomas Dambo Trolls, they were worth the trip. Stopped at 7 Hills Brewery in Clinton, we had awesome food and brew. Take time to wander over to Wild Cat Den Park and the grist mill, very pretty location.
