What Guests Are Saying
Shady Creek is a well-maintained campground along the Mississippi River, offering spacious, level concrete sites and a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean facilities, and scenic views, as well as the proximity to local attractions like Wildcat Den State Park. While some noted issues with bathroom maintenance and nearby train noise, the overall experience is positive, making it a favored spot for short getaways.

Very pretty place to camp. Love being able to walk along the river. Love all the paved spots and roads. Makes it easy for leveling and a good place to ride bike

Most of the sites do not have a view of the Mississippi River. I got one of the few that do. Quiet 53 site campground. I enjoyed my stay.
